If you use both Marin Search and Marin Social, and you’d like to report on all of your cross-channel data side-by-side, Unified Reporting offers a simple solution to do just that.
Marin’s Unified Reporting uses Marin’s Channel Connect to pull your Marin Social data into the Marin Search platform for side-by-side reporting. You can learn more about our Channel Connect solution from our Channel Connect Overview article.
Using Channel Connect, Marin Social will send a daily file to Marin Search. Then, Marin Search will process the file and display Marin Social data in the grid as a publisher. You can then use this data to create a Unified Report with side-by-side search and social data from all of our cross-channel publishers.
Once Unified Reporting has been enabled in your account, you can set up your cross-channel report the same way you'd set up any other report template. To learn more, check out our Training: Recurring Reports article in Marin University.

Once Unified Reporting has been set up, you will continue to manage your Social campaigns and bidding from the Marin Social platform and you will manage your Search campaigns and bidding from the Marin Search platform. Unified Reporting is a reporting-only solution that will not impact your search or social campaign management within their respective platforms.
