Bulk Adding or Editing Placements

Introduction

It's easy to add or edit placements in the Platform. In fact, the whole process is very similar to that of bulk adding or editing keywords.

Below we'll explain how to do this in a few simple steps. 

Step-by-step guide

To add or edit your placements in bulk, follow these steps:
 

  1. First, head to any grid in the Platform which lists placements.
     
  2. Click the link under the Related Tasks section on any placement grid which will send you to the Bulk Add/Edit screen.
     
  3. On the Bulk Add/Edit screen, you have the option to specify the Publisher Account, Campaign and Ad Group via the drop-down menus. This option makes it easy to add placements to a specific campaign or ad group. If you add placements while viewing a specific ad group, these items will be pre-populated and only the new placements need to be entered.


As you make your selections from the drop-down menus, the number of required columns will change.

The columns in [brackets] are optional columns. If they are not included in the upload, the keywords will use the following defaults:
 

  • Max_Cont_CPC: Blank (use group bid)
  • Max_Cont_CPM: Blank (use group bid)
  • Destination URL: Blank (Placement will use destination URL from group creative)
  • Status: Active
