You can now view Prominence Metrics in the Devices Tab and History Grids in Marin Search. This gives advertisers a faster way to aggregate performance and gain a true understanding of where their ads appear on the SERP.
Advertisers will now be able to sync and view their Gmail Ads in the Creatives Grid. Gmail Ads are pay-per-click ads that advertisers can serve in their prospects’ email inboxes, and are displayed at the top of a user’s inbox within the social or promotions tab:
The yellow square box indicates that it’s an ad and not an actual email, and most Gmail Ads expand into a full-screen promotion when clicked, looking like actual emails.
Google automatically optimizes Gmail Ads to ensure they fit the format of where they’re shown: desktop, mobile, or the Gmail app. Ads in Gmail use the standard display targeting options, including audience keywords, in-market audiences, demographics, affinity audiences, automated targeting, remarketing, customer match, and life events.
The average person spends over 4 hours checking their work email every day. With that amount of time dedicated to email, and with 1.2 billion monthly active users on Gmail, Gmail Ads are a great way to target potential customers.
