"Unrecognized Amount - 0.00"

What is the issue?

When working with the Platform, you may encounter the following error message (or a variation thereof): 

 

Unrecognized amount: "0.00"

What causes the issue?

This issue occurs because the Platform expects numbers to use a comma as a decimal separator, but the bulk upload includes numbers that appear to be using a period (or full stop) as a separator. 

How to fix the issue

You can fix the problem by simply retrying the upload using the correct number format. The expected number format is based on the Locale of the client.
