What Is The Issue?

You may encounter the following sync error when working in the Marin Social platform:

" Fail to create creative. Invalid parameter: Page Post Can't Be Used: This type of Page post can't be promoted in an ad."

What Causes The Issue?

Some post can not be promoted because they are derived from other posts.

How To Fix The Issue  

To resolve the error message:
 

1. Mass edit the creative(s) that can not be synchronized.
2. In the message column, click on the post ID which will open the Post Picker.
3. In the Search bar, write the first sentence of the post message to find the different copies of the desired post.
4. Two posts should come up. Please, select the other post from the one you the ad was using.
5. Finally, synchronize the ad again.
