“You Can’t Use the API Until You Complete the Signup Process and are Approved.”

What is the issue?

When trying to link a publisher account to the application, you may see the following error message:

You can’t use the API until you complete the signup process and are approved.

Why causes this issue?

The publisher account (i.e. Google or Microsoft account) has not completed the setup process on the publisher’s end, which will need to be completed before linking to your account.

How to fix the issue

All billing will need to be approved on the publisher’s side for that account before you can link it into the application.
