"No Lines Re" Or "No Lines Read" After Multi-Editing

What Is The Issue?

When filtering on any grid in the platform for a text string featuring non-standard text characters (such as ê, Ä, ß, á, Ñ, ®), then attempting to multi-edit the results using the All items on all pages option, you may encounter the following error message:

No lines re

 

This error message will appear in the downloaded file from the Activity Log after the multi-edit operation fails. It is a truncated version of the full error No lines read.

What Causes The Issue?

This is a known issue that our engineers are actively working on correcting. The fix will be released as part of an upcoming platform update. In the meantime, please follow the workarounds listed below.

How To Fix The Issue

While there is no fix for the issue yet, you can work around it by following any of these steps:

  • Rather than selecting All items on all pages, choose the All items on this page option instead. Next, work page-by-page to make your edits.
  • Alternatively, you can use a bulk upload to make mass changes.
