Number of Objects Uploaded Doesn't Match Number of Objects Created

What is the issue?

When adding or editing objects such as Campaigns, Groups, Keywords, or Creatives in bulk, you may notice that there are more rows in your bulk sheet than there are number of objects created after the upload is complete.

What causes the issue?

There are a number of reasons that this discrepancy could occur. Below are the two most common:

  1. There may be duplicate rows in the bulk sheet, meaning that only one object would be created as a result.
  2. The objects may already exist within the platform, meaning they do not need to be created or edited at all.

How to fix the issue

The only way to ensure that the number of objects uploaded matches the number of objects created is to make sure there are no duplicate rows in the bulk sheet or objects within the platform. As long as every new or edited object in your bulk sheet is unique, you should not encounter this issue.
