If you have been using Marin's legacy bidding solution, you can opt into the dynamic allocation option for even better performance. With dynamic allocation, Marin takes a more holistic approach. Rather than considering the performance of each biddable object (e.g. keyword) individually, Marin will dynamically allocate spend to the best opportunity. The result is more conversion and better ROAS at the same spend level.

Prerequisites for Migration
Before migrating to Ascend’s dynamic allocation, make sure you are using the "Maximize Conversions" to CPA or "Maximize Revenue" to ROAS goal.
Steps to Migrate
- Request Enablement: Contact a Marin representative to enable “Marin Bidding with Ascend” for your account.
- Update Goal Types: Ensure strategies are compatible with Dynamic Allocation (e.g., "Maximize Convs. to CPA" or "Maximize Rev. to ROAS").
- Enable Dynamic Allocation: Open the Strategy settings side-panel. Under Advanced Options enable the "Dynamic Allocation" option. Click Save.

Review Recommendations: The new recommendations will run over night. Continue to monitor campaign-level recommendations in the grid and Insights in the Allocation Dashboard.
