When bulk uploading creatives, you may notice that the process is taking longer than expected – or that the operation simply won't complete at all.
What Causes The Issue?
This problem is most commonly caused by having an invalid character such as � in the headline and/or the description line in your bulk sheet. You can check if that's the case by opening the bulk sheet in the Activity Log.
How To Fix The Issue
When you edit the bulk sheet, make sure to save as Unicode Text and then upload it in the platform. This prevents Excel from changing any letter into an invalid character.
- When you have Microsoft creatives in your bulk sheet that contain an invalid character, you will see the Microsoft Error: The ad title failed editorial validation.
