Pausing, Resuming or Deleting Objects

Introduction

You can pause, resume, and delete various objects in MarinOne, including campaigns, groups, keywords, creatives, and more.

How to Pause, Resume, or Delete a Campaign

  • To pause a single object or multiple objects: select the check-boxes next to the objects and select the Pause button above the grid. clipboard_ef602d9384e35e9d1bede792f0cbe9482.png

You can pause, resume, or delete multiple items by selecting multiple check-boxes, shift-clicking to select a range, or checking the Super-Select checkbox at the top of the grid to select all objects. When pausing keywords based on recent performance, simply sort or filter by performance criteria first, then select the filtered objects using super-select and pause them.

Note: Once items are deleted in the application, they cannot be reactivated again in the application.

Parent Status

Keywords may also be paused or deleted if their parent group or campaign becomes paused or deleted. If a keyword is affected by a change in the status of its parent group or campaign, the keyword status will identify the parent group or campaign where the change was made.

When a parent object is resumed, this will not necessarily resume all child groups/keywords/creative, but will allow those objects to abide by their own individual status settings.

For example, Keyword A has an individual status of Active, and Keyword B has an individual status of Paused. When the parent group of these two keywords is paused, this setting will override the statuses for Keyword A and Keyword B, and these two keywords will also be paused. When the group is then resumed, keywords will be set back to their individual statuses: Keyword A will have a status of Active, and Keyword B will have a status of Paused.
