"Account is Using Redirects, Upload using Click-Through URL"

What is the issue?

When bulk uploading keywords/creatives, you may encounter an error message such as this:
 

Account is Using Redirects, Upload using Click-Through URL

 

You can find the message under the Result column header in the error file in the Activity Log.

What causes the issue?

If the URL Builder is configured to Build redirect URLs, this problem is caused by using the Destination URL column header instead of the Click Through URL column header in the bulk sheet.

How to fix the issue

You need to check the URL Builder settings by following these steps:
 

  1. Click the Admin link in the upper-right.
     
  2. Select the Revenue sub-tab.
     
  3. Click URL Builder in the left-hand menu.
     
  4. Scroll down and see if Build redirect URLs is checked.
     

If the Build redirect URLs feature is enabled for keywords/creatives, make sure to use the Click Through URL column header in the bulk sheet and upload it again into the Platform.
