We’ve added support for Custom Columns in MarinOne, which allows advertisers to create segmented metrics not available in the standard reporting interface. This helps them create a dashboard better suited to their needs, so they can keep track of the things that matter in their accounts.
Advertisers can tailor custom columns to display specific views of their data, so they can quickly see the information that is most important to them. Users can also add personalisation to their reporting, by creating formulas for the metrics that require a calculation.

Advertisers now see and build reports with Google Smart Shopping data in the platform. Smart Shopping is integrated with Marin’s existing Shopping support so that Smart Shopping campaigns will be housed alongside existing traditional Shopping campaigns. Within the Products tab, Smart Shopping product groups will show "All" or any subdivisions that are assigned to that ad group, similar to traditional Shopping product groups. SKU level reporting in the Shopping Products tab is also available for Smart Shopping.
Smart Shopping uses machine-learning to reduce the amount of man hours needed to optimize campaigns. Advertisers just need to enter their campaign objective and budget, and Smart Shopping takes care of the rest with automated bidding and ad placements. With Marin, advertisers can apply dimensions, review SKU level performance, apply as custom columns, and include Smart Shopping in account-level reporting.
We’ve added support for additional Facebook Ad Placements in Marin Social, including Marketplace, Search, and Instagram Explore. This aims to bring the full stack of Facebook Ad Placements into Marin, so that it’s in parity with Ads Manager.
More people are spending time on social media during the Covid-19 lockdowns, and these new placements offer advertisers more options in areas of Facebook that are not entirely overrun with competitor advertising.
We now support Automated Rules for social in MarinOne. Advertisers can also use social dimensions to trigger these rules, and set up an email notification alerting them once the rule is triggered.
As an advertiser’s number of Facebook campaigns grows, optimizing them manually becomes increasingly time-consuming. With this addition, MarinOne will automatically update an advertiser's social campaigns, ad sets, and ads, and undertake the actions they specify. Such rules are ideal for tasks that advertisers perform regularly throughout the day or through a period of time, such as checking that they are within budget or that their CPAs, ROIs, or ROAS are within their target KPIs.
With Automated Rules, social advertisers can:
