"Destination URL was Invalid"

what is the issue?

When uploading keywords/creatives, you may encounter this error message in the Activity Log error file.

Error: Destination URL was invalid

The Destination URL of the uploaded keywords/ads contain characters that are not accepted in a URL format.

Check the error file for any invalid characters, extra spaces or excessive punctuation in the URL.

Example 1: www.example.com/Free Training In this case there is a space between 'Free' and 'Training'. Remove the space or replace with an underscore "_" or any other URL compatible character.
Example 2: www.example..com/FreeTraining In this case there is an extra '.' in the string that causes the system to return errors. Remove excessive punctuation and re-upload the file.
Example 3: www.example.com/FreeTraining In this case there is an extra space at the end of the URL that causes the system to return errors. Remove extra spaces and re-upload the file.

If there are no apparent structural issues with the URLs, the client's server could be rejecting those URLs.
If you strip off everything starting at the question mark, the base page does load.
