Creating an Advertiser in Marin Social

Introduction

An Advertiser is the highest level in the Marin Social Platform hierarchy (i.e. Advertiser > Media Plan > Campaign > Ad). For example, you might want to create a distinct Advertiser per product, client, etc. In this article, we'll show you how to create a new advertiser in a few short steps. 

Step-by-step Guide

1. To create an Advertiser, first click New, then click Advertiser in the drop-down menu.
 

2. Next, fill in the name for the new Advertiser and choose the currency. You can also upload the logo here.

Note: You must enter a unique name for each new Advertiser.

Be sure to carefully select the currency, as all Media Plans added will have to be attached to a Facebook account with same currency.


3. If necessary, you can also apply a customized Reporting Template to the Advertiser.
 

4. Next, set up auto-pause capping to monitor your media spend.
 

5. Finally, simply fill in the company contact information

 

6. All done! Your new advertiser is now available within Marin Social
