The Asset Manager: Offsite

Introduction

The Offsite feature makes it easy to connect third-party file storage accounts to Marin Social's Asset Manager. This allows you to store your creative assets with a service like Google Drive and then use them in Marin Social as ad images or videos.

Note: Only Google Drive accounts are supported at this time. We plan to add support for DropBox, Box, and OneDrive accounts in the future.

Step-by-step


To connect a Google Drive account to Marin Social's Asset Manager, follow these steps:
 

  1. Click Config in the top-right of the Marin Social platform and select Asset Manager.

  2. Click the Offsite tab.

  3. Click the Add Account button.

  4. Name the account you'd like to connect to Marin Social, and select Google Drive as the publisher.
     
  5. You'll be redirected to Google and asked to choose the account you'd like to link to Marin.
     
  6. You'll be asked to give Marin permission to access your Google Drive files. Click Allow.
     
  7. Back at the Asset Manager, click the Offsite tab once more and you'll see your linked Google Drive assets and folders.
