What is the issue?

When trying to log in to the Marin Social platform, you may be unable to log in and encounter this error message:
 

This error message will appear below the login text fields once you click the Login button. 

What causes the issue?

This issue is most commonly caused by using incorrect credentials (either username or password) when attempting to log in to Marin Social. 

How to fix the issue

To fix this issue, you'll need to update the credentials you use to log in to Marin Social. To do that, just follow these steps:
 

1. From the Marin Social login screen, click Forgot Password? below the login fields.
2. From here, you'll be asked to enter either your username or email address, however please note that using the email address will not work in this case. Instead, please enter your username.
   
   
    
3. Click Send, then check your email and follow the instructions to reset your password.
