Data for an Unlinked PCA (Publisher Client Account) Still Appears in the Platform

What is the issue?

You may notice that, having recently unlinked a Publisher Client Account (PCA) from your main account, that the data for this PCA still remains visible in the platform.

What causes the issue?

Because PCAs can contain a lot of data, it can take some time for the account to be completely unlinked. This is expected behavior for the Platform, and does not represent a problem or issue.

How to fix the issue

We would always recommend waiting until after the platform’s nightly sync before checking that a PCA unlinking procedure has been successful. You could also attempt a manual sync which may solve the problem and remove the data.
